Irvine Junior Games is a one-day track and field event in May for all 4th-8th grade students in IUSD. Events for the middle school athletes includes: 100m sprint, 400, 800, and/or the 1,500m run. Athletes can also compete in 2 additional field events: Soccer kick, running long jump, and/or basketball shot. All athletes compete against others in their grade group for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals. The entire event is a fundraiser of the Irvine Children's Fund.
